Guidelande, known by everyone as Lovely, is often the first to volunteer to help at the Lighthouse and is marked by a gentle spirit. She is the quietest of the girls at Lighthouse and uses her words sparingly—perhaps why she chose to leave several of her “three things” responses simply at two.

What are 3 things you are especially good at?

I am good at dancing, math, and sleeping.

What are 3 things you have been complimented on?

I’ve been complimented for my dancing ability, for the way I welcome people, and the way I quietly speak to people.

What are 3 accomplishments that have marked your life?

At the Lighthouse Christmas party, I danced even though I was nervous. I also have passed in school when they told me I wouldn’t pass.

What are 3 ways you have brought joy to another person?

I make others happy when I get good grades in school, and when I help with work around the house.

What are 3 things you give the most value to?

My family. My friends. God.

What are 3 ways you have helped other people?

I help other students in class, and I help in the kitchen.

I like to help people, and I like to give counsel to my friends.
