Every year the 5- and 6-year-olds who are completing their third year of kindergarten at Grace Emmanuel School host a beautiful celebration to mark their passage into first grade.
The children participate in a parade, sing and dance together, and recite poetry, all made possible by the tireless efforts of Grace Emmanuel School’s kindergarten team. The hard work is always worth it to see the pride and joy on each parent’s face as they watch their child perform.
This year’s kindergarten celebration was held on June 29, and was a beautiful moment for the whole school and community.

Wendy Pierre began working for JiHM in 2019 as the sponsorship assistant. She currently serves as a liaison for the students of Grace Emmanuel School and assists with communications. Wendy lives in Minotrie with her mom, brother, and sister.
