The Bible says we are to let our light shine for Jesus, (Matthew 5:16, 2 Corinthians 4:6). At Jesus in Haiti Ministries we call our areas of ministry "Points of Light." At each of the points our goal is to share the wonderful, life changing message of Jesus Christ and to teach the Word of God, making disciples and training these folks to do the same. We are letting our light shine at these points of light.

1) The Mission Home: The Mission Home is home to 24 people including Tom Osbeck, Executive Director. Each person living at the Mission Home were all hand picked by God and placed in Tom's life. These are young people who are being educated and trained in a Godly home with the purpose of making disciples of them and teaching them to change their world for Christ, in whatever call God has for their life. Two male ministry staff members live at the mission home and help teach the boys who live there.

2) Victory Bible Church: JiH’s three-year-old church averages over 300 people per week. The church staff does a wonderful job teaching and training the church to reach its community through evangelism, a children’s program, and a youth program. The most important element of the church is not what happens at the weekly church service, but what happens the other six days, as we the church go out into the world to be Jesus to a lost and dying people.

3) Jesus in Haiti works alongside a Haitian run orphanage to provide food, water, clothes, medical attention and Biblical training to the over 90 children presently living there.

4) New Roads Garbage Dump: A garbage dump where over 80 people rummage for food – some even live there. We bring them the life changing message of Jesus Christ, giving hope to people who have been forgotten by the world. We provide them with food, water and the gospel. God showed Tom, that we need to be in the villages where the people in the garbage dump live, not where they work. We have rented a building for staff to have an office where we will conduct outreach, kids clubs, leadership training and English classes.

5) Grace Emmanuel School: Begun four years ago with 15 homeless and destitute children. Grace Emmanuel has grown to 100 children. The students are fed five days per week. They are provided clean drinking water and medical services as well as a basic education. Our goal is to help raise up a generation of Christian educated young men and women who can change Haiti for Christ. You can be a part of this Point of Light by sponsoring a child for only $35 per month.
